I spent an incredible amount of time sorting and bagging engine parts the last three days. Since I want to start assembly, I need to ensure that I have all the hardware necessary to complete the engine...down to the last nut and washer. No easy task at all. I took the parts manual for the engine and started at page 1-1, assembling the parts and bagging them. When I didn't have a part or piece of hardware, I ordered it from Aircraft Specialties. Three days and $1700 later, I have my full engine kit on hand or on order! Once the parts arrive, I will sort them into the proper bags and then the assembly can begin. In the meantime, I'll clean and paint some parts.
