Next step is to get the pieces together for the shock strut so the length can be set accurately. Eric Newton has a good explanation of where to set the end length of the rod ends into the pistons. One tricky part is the bushings for the rod ends. I had never made those, so it was off to the lathe for more fun! There is a left and a right because the oil port is drilled and tapped at the factory. I marked them accordingly so I wouldn't get them mixed up.
