On to the doors. I took a cue from Gavin Chester and am fabricating his installation method for installing swing-up doors. I finally figured out his installation method and make a bunch of attach points similar to his. After the form block was done, I made ten attach points out of .050 4130. I’m going to use clip on nutplates for the fuselage side and metal screws for th door attach point.
Once I finally figured out what he did, I fabricated form block for the hinge attach points. Once that was done, I made the other brackets. The wider brackets will also be attach point for an aluminum reveal that will help enclose the upper part of the fuselage.
