Before I started drilling for the wing struts, I decided to check (one more time) the wings after the spar bolts have been drilled and the dihedral in both wings were set. I put card targets on the top of the wing, leading edges, inboard and outboard. I have a very accurate 3 axis self-leveling Bosch laser and I checked wing sweep, position and dihedral relative to each other. It was all within a 1/16th of an inch of each other. I also checked the distance from wing tip to tailpost and they were within 1/8th of an inch. Not too bad. I am super-happy with the result!
After all that happiness, I started fitting the wing strut ends to the wings and finish drilling the lower attach point. Pretty easy, but have to be real careful!
