A friend suggested that I cover the main gear frame and the back fairing in one piece to eliminate the seam that would be visible at the trailing edge. I tried it and I didn’t really like how it turned out. The main reason was the way the fabric had to be worked around the step. I’ll try covering the other gear leg how I think it should be done and compare the two.
