I made the frame out of .032 and the covers out of .025 AL. It’s real straightforward…no weird angles or bends. I made the same alignment arm in the frame as on the elevator access frame. Contact cement is unforgiving and these will get me real close to the proper location. Once the frame is installed, these will be removed. The cover slot sits behind the stab and will be covered with the stab fairing…never see it and it can be easily removed.
