As it’s getting ready for cowling time, I have a few bits that need paint. The cowl latches, a couple of future inspection panels and the pitot mast. The pitot mast caught me by surprise. I had walked by the darn thing hundreds of times and just now noticed that it was still in gray metal primer! Since the stuff isn’t a 2K epoxy paint I can’t topcoat it with Superflite. I didn’t want to remove the whole thing, strip and reprime the darn thing I just rattle-canned it with some “Pewter Gray” Krylon that I used on some interior parts. It will be fine!
