Well, it was a good day. Got a lot done and shot the trim paint. But, no good deed goes unpunished! On the last crosscoat my air hose just bumped one of the boot cowling pieces and it fell off the stand, landing paint-side down of course. I spent the next hour frantically cleaning the fresh paint off of the piece with gobs of paper towels and lacquer thinner to respray later. It wasn’t easy as the base coat was already catalyzing and sticking to the piece like no one’s business. But I got it done and went to bed..long day.
