I took the opportunity to lightly wet sand all the surfaces with a spray bottle of water and 320 sandpaper. I really took it easy around the rivets because it is so easy to sand the primer right off of those. After that, I put the pieces out in the sun to dry. After they were ready I hung them back up in the booth, gave them a rubdown with IPA and a tack rag before shooting the color. The parts all came out very nice.
