Now time for the grunt work after it had set overnight. Time to wet sand the whole thing. I didn’t want the barrier paper that I had laid down to get saturated so I laid down a tarp to collect all the water and paint. It was just pure grunt work…sand a section, wipe, move to the next, etc. but I’m really happy as to how it turned out. I found that on the other fabric covered pieces that I had painted the first coat of primer took way longer to sand than the second. So second coat tomorrow and then topcoat. The progress has slowed down because we have had, and continue to have lost of snow. So I have lots of quality time on the tractor moving snow just about every other day, which equals to less shop time. Yuck…
