Brief Description:  First Coat of Primer

The first coat of primer...yay! It went on real nice, but my calculations were a bit off and had to mix up some more primer for the second crosscoat. Easy to do, just annoying. I used my trim gun to paint the interior and for the primer I went back to my full-sized gun. Sure is heavy with 32oz of paint and painting over something! I painted the belly first to make sure I didn’t have a problem with the area I had cleaned the grease stains. It went on just fine, no issues. Since most of the painting was aft of the doors I didn’t want to be constantly walking to the front to turn the fuselage. I loosened the brake a bit so it had some drag and took a pipe wrench and used that to turn the mount at the tailwheel. Could have been a bit longer, but worked out great.
