Well I decided to start off easy by painting some metal parts that had been in primer for a number of months, trim tabs and the ventral fin. I saved the ventral fin for the first part covered with fabric to receive color. If it doesn’t turn out, no big deal. It’s only installed when the floats are installed and it’s in the back where no one would notice anyway. The metal parts turned out great and the ventral fin, although not perfect, perfectly fine. The main thing is that I learned a lot and will apply that to my next parts. I started to maintain a log on my paint mixtures and how much they cover since I'm basically working without aq net...never did this before!
