Moving on to other parts, I primed the landing gear, let it set, then wet sanded everything. After it was all dry I put on a second coat of primer on all the parts. I’m glad that I was able to practice first on some smaller parts. I had to completely strip one of the trim tabs of primer because of a fabric issue that I didn’t catch the first time around. I was able to make the repair and reprimed, no problem. Now that I have the process down, now to move onto bigger, more visible parts.
