My first trial pieces are small. The ventral fin and two trim tab. If I screw these up, no big deal. Nothing major to wreck and nothing too big to have to rescue. The cardboard on the wall is for testing out the spray pattern before I start spraying. The learning curve is really steep at this point. New process, new equipment, greenhorn behind the gun, etc.
