The method I used to ventilate the booth is to mount my exhaust fan to a panel that I had made to take the place of a garage door panel. However, the panels in the shop door are just too labor-intensive to just remove and replace, especially the bottom one where the overhead spring attaches with cables. I built the panel, disconnected the shop door at the lift mechanism and placed this panel along the bottom. I closed the door on top of the panel, securing it on the sides to the door frame. This allowed me to skip removing the bottom door panel. Since the shop door seals on the sides and top when the door is completely closed, I had to insulate the small gaps with bits of batt insulation.
