The headset jack location in any aircraft is a royal PITA! So trying to decide what would be the best for me is also a pain. I love my Bose A20s, but the dongle/battery/Bluetooth thingie dangling certainly limits my choices. So I put in the seat and played pilot for a while, over-analyzing every combination. I finally decided for the pilot and co-pilot jacks to put them under the instrument panel, in each corner with the jacks pointed downward. That should help keep me from banging my knee on the jacks every time I get in and out, especially while on floats. It certainly wasn’t my first choice, but it is functional.
