Brief Description:  Starting engine mount

This is the start after a few (actually, quite a few) interruptions in the building process, but I'm back at it.

I got a great deal on an AviPro mount (thanks, Mark!), so I decided to fit it to my fuselage. I'm now at the point where I need to place the station where the engine mount bolts to (firewall), so the alignment is critical. So, here it goes...

Since I'm using an AviPro engine mount, the process to adapt the mount to the fuselage is a little different than scratch-building. The extended centerline of the fuselage goes straight through the crank. Normally, the fuselage is built, then you align the motor to the fuselage and fill the space in between with motor mount, basically making a one-off mount. With a completed mount, I have to make it align now.

It was a little scary drawing the case halves together. It's a nice, tight fit and it took almost two hours to get the two halves drawn together. I was very careful and went slow so as to not damage the case
