Brief Description:  Building the fuselage jig Part 2

Today was part 2 in the fuselage jig construction. I didn't want to anchor the vertical pieces of wood to the floor, so I just made an additional framework of wood around the perimeter, but down low. I figured the jig table hasn't moved in a year, so it should be stable enough to put additional bracing on the bottom.

Once I got that done, I went about making sure I had a straight line from station E to the tail post. I was very careful to get this right, and to recheck the alignment of the bottom to the table centerline. I did put up some cross pieces of wood at the top so I could get the fuselage top in place and start aligning the two halves together. Once the top is properly in place, it will be time to get busy again cutting tubing!
