Brief Description:  Cleaning the tube ends

Today was a little less time in the shop with shopping for Thanksgiving and all. I was going to tack the fuselage top today, but I took time instead to do a little studying. I read in some books about aircraft welding and practiced a bit. I remember last time that I tacked tubing that i didn't practice enough. Even with tacks, it's important to keep things clean and have the right heat settings on the torch.

After a rather pleasant evening of welding, I took my 3M bristle disc on my 90deg die grinder and polished the ends, getting ready to tack it together. The cleaning may not be too necessary for just a tack, but I figure it's easier now to get the ends of the tubes as clean as I can, It should save some work when I get ready to finish weld.
