Today I went ahead and bent the longerons to shape. They are .750 by .049 tubing. I finished bending the right side to put an end to my stuttering start yesterday. After that, I flipped it over to the left side, just to make sure the measurements were the same on both sides and I didn't screw something up. It fit perfectly on the other side, so I did it right. Big confidence boost for the first piece of bent tubing. I went ahead and finished the other side. After that, I laid them side by side and they were just about a mirror image of each other. The second longeron took about a third the time of the first. Seems that's the way it's going to go as I learn. I have to admit, it's a lot of fun.
