To make the transition I had to match drill the top pieces to the skylight screw holes and the holes in the wings where the nutplates will go. It seemed straightforward, but on the right side I did mess up and got it offset just a bit too much. Long runs can be like that. Fortunately all that was involved was shearing a new strip of .032.
