One thing that has eluded me for quite some time is how to complete the top of the door. As in many times form follows function and it became obvious once the doors were installed. I used some .025 and bent it up a bit. It will allow for a bearing surface for the wing to fuselage fairings and a mounting surface for the wing root area. The inside will be covered in Kydex, but this is a much more solid platform for switches and jacks than just in Kydex. The entire wing root area will have a Kydex covering.
