Saving the best for last, the challenge of making the D window inside trim. I saw on the supercub website that someone used an MDF form and, using a heat gun, formed the Kydex panel for a D window. My complete door skin would probably have to be made in the form, so I’ll think about it as to the best way is to pull this off. The stuff does form very easily with heat, but it also assumes whatever shape is underneath. In other words it really telegraphs any imperfections to the outside.
