Another job that I have been putting off for far too long is finishing the door skins on all the doors. So I decided while waiting for my baffle rivets I can get started on them. Cutting and shaping AL is always a slow process to get it right the first time. I really have to sneak up on the edges. The cargo doors also have a slight crease where the stringer line extends through the fuselage. I first used a string to determine the position, but I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the string method as it was hard to determine and draw the line. Purely an optical thing, but certainly someone will see even a slight dogleg in the skin.
