This is one job that needed a solution and has eluded me for over a year. But, after months of off and on paralyzing analysis I came up with a trim indicator that it exactly what I was hoping for. It was visible and simple. I used a small chunk of leftover stringer material, a piece of 1/16th welding rod, a Du-Bro landing gear wheel collar from my former R/C days and some leftover hardware. Add a lick of paint, fab a pointer thingie and put on some stickers from my label printer and VOILA…a trim indicator!
