I bought some 1/16ths in neoprene sheet and made it exactly as it was described in the 2006 Q3 Beartracks, as I did for the cutout. First, I had to enlarge the cutout just a bit in some places as it was rubbing on the strut. Once I did that, I did an overlay of the recommended seal and there was no way that it was going to work. The margins just weren’t enough. I did two things. First, I cut a gap so I could remove the belly pans without having to remove the shock struts, which is a big pain in the rear. Second, I drew a shape that would give me good margins and allow for making cover plate to hold the rubber gasket in place.
