Now that the holes are in, time to drill the holes for the screws that hold the instruments in place and make provisions for the “bump outs” around the perimeter of certain instruments. This step is pretty critical to get right, otherwise all the instruments will have a bit of a tilt to them and just look goofy. I downloaded a template for the altimeter shape thinking it was a “standard”. Wrong! Although each instrument looked the same, they are just a tiny bit different. So, more fussing with a file to get them to fit and look right.
