I have fabric on the inside of some of the fuselage. This is a lightweight finish, but it also covers some things such as the flap pulley cable guards! It was almost by accident that I figured out that I need to install these before I painted. I was looking through a parts box, looking for something else when I saw these. I thought they could be installed after paint, but that’s not the case. I had to make a hole on the inside fabric large enough so I could safety them in place. After quite a bit of fiddling, I went ahead and installed and safetied them. I just have a common ¼-20 bolt in place to hold things in place while I paint. It will be replaced with AN hardware when the pulley is installed.
