I needed some real wide tape to trim around the upper cargo door opening. I was using a piece of scrap fabric, but when I pinked the edges they started to fray almost immediately. I used some Superflite U-500 glue that was thinned down quite a bit with acetone and brushed it along the cut line. Once the edge was pinked the tape edge pinking held together very well.
