Brief Description: Windshield Backing Strips Part 2
Once in place I marked their position and removed the windshield. I want them to be adjustable, so I put the nutplates on the pieces and will screw them in from underneath. To be able to make sure they are tight I’ll slot the screw holes a bit and will use washer head screws for good grip. The face of the pieces will receive a coat of paint, then a strip of felt tape that was supplied with the windshield. Another job done!
