I fit the windshield and then taped it all to protect the plastic. I noticed there was space below the windshield close to the doors. So I fabricated some filler out of some very thin plywood to give the fairing a decent look. After all the taping I coated the tape with some PVA mold release agent to help remove the fairing after it was all laid up.
