Brief Description: Fuel Tank Strap Bolts Safety Wire
There are a number of these hex-head bolts in conjunction with the straps holding the fuel tank in the wing. The upper straps shouldn’t need to be removed once the length is set. So instead of using Loctite on the bolts I drilled the bolt heads and used safety wire to keep them from spinning out. I’ll use 242 for the lower strap bolts since they are easier to get to.
