While installing the fuel tanks I realized the filler necks on the main tanks were just a bit too short when properly suspended with the tank straps. The tanks will shift a bit until they find their happy place and the last thing I want is the filler neck wedged under the wing skin. The aux tanks were fine. So the question now is how to fix it. The solution? Weld extensions on to the existing filler necks. Yay…more work.
