Jim Harden was concerned the aft fuel line from the main tanks may have a potential low point when the aircraft is parked, especially if I ever get bush wheels. He suggested to put a couple of sumps at this point just to be safe. This is the result. I got two steel unions and then made some brackets that I will weld onto the lower longeron. The bottom of the brackets will be flush with the bottom fabric and the steel union will stick out a bit. That’s where the quick drains will be.
