I finally took the plunge and cut a HOLE in the leading edge of my wing! Scary stuff, but it was pretty easy. I used a step-bit to make the radius holes and used a dremel cut-off disk to connect the holes. Some careful work with a file and some aluminum oxide sandpaper and a vent hole is born. Now to duplicate it on the other side.
