Brief Description:  Wing Tip LIghts Part 1

Well, I got really tired working on the fuselage, so I thought I would try my hand at doing some fiberglass work. Mainly making wingtip lights, mounting the nav lights and making the engine air intake. I first started on the wing tips, thinking it would be relatively easy. Wrong! I had bought the RV10 lenses based on the recommendation in BearTracks, but they don’t fit. They look really good, but they won’t fit without a LOT of heat gun work which will ruin them. I ended up selling them on the Van’s AirForce web site at a loss and I ordered a flat sheet of PETG .080 off Amazon. I’ll make them myself. First, to make them mountable I have to make a joggle in the fiberglass and make a shelf for the light to mount to. So, here we go!
