Brief Description: Reinforcing the axles for skis Part 2
The sleeves were very tight at the end and I needed a hydraulic press to put them in the last three inches. I measured the tube and had a good idea how deep they needed to go. I marked the depth with a sharpie and pushed them home. All that was left to do is to cut off the excess tube and smooth/deburr with the end of the axle. Another job done…
