Brief Description: FIrewall and exhaust tunnel Part 1
One of the pieces that attaches to the firewall is the stainless exhaust tunnel. Normally, the tunnel fits over the flange riveted to the firewall to go with the airflow, but my tunnel was a bit too narrow and fell inside to the firewall flange instead of over it. I wondered why Bearhawk Aircraft included an additional piece of stainless angle with my firewall and now I know. I was able to remove the offending flange and rivet on a new one that I bent to proper dimensions that allowed the tunnel to sit properly in relation to the airflow. So, that’s what I did.
