I cut out just one flat frame for the D window. On the cargo door side the skin of the door is the flat piece. That's another good feature...you can make two parts that are identical. There is no need for a left/right. Once the flat part was cut, I trimmed and finessed the edges of all the frames to make them smooth and straight. I marked the rivet locations and drilled/deburred the holes. Once that was done, I put a rivet in every other hole. Some would be used for mounting the frame to the fuselage using 1/4in tubing. I test mounted the window on the pilot’s side and I’m really happy with the result. On to mounting the frames…
