Brief Description:  Cable Trim System Part 6

Well, after thinking about it for far way too long, I hit upon an installation idea for the belcrank. The flap pulleys use standoffs of small tubing to carry the bolt. So, I came up with a similar idea for the belcrank. I first welded on the piece of tubing to the top T7 tube that runs between the sides of the fuselage. To further reinforce the install (I don’t think it needs it) I welded in a small support bracket from the T7 tube to near the base of the tubing mount. This will preclude any potential movement if the trim cable is tightened too tight. I also angled the tube a bit so the belcrank angle matches the trim cable angle as it come in from the fairleads. Next, and last task to tackle is the mounts for the control cables themselves. Stay tuned…
