Another popular mod in Alaska is a belly pan that gives you access to all that is going on in the tail of the aircraft. Again, Atlee Dodge has an STC for this, along with a few others. It also allows for a clean way to terminate the ends of the belly stringers. I placed the belly stringers in place, then made a template of the proper angles for the front mount. I took a piece of 1/2in square .035 tubing and matched it to the template and tacked it. I then fit the piece to the longerons and tacked in place the U-brackets for the stringers. I had a few left over from the stringer standoffs.
