I took some time out to get a small project out of the way. I started making a set of fuel sight gages like Peter Stevens did. It's pretty straight forward in design and making the parts. I've cut the slots in the aluminum tubing and primed/painted them. All that's left to do is put it all together. Those fancy PMA Piper fuel balls from Univair cost $14.00 with shipping...and they came in a box no less. Crazy...but they are the only ones that sell them.
