Christmas and New Years was fun with family, but now time to get back to it. Well, so much for planning ahead. When I made my template for the cargo door I found that I was off by a good ½ inch at the bottom. Apparently, when I made my cargo door sills I didn’t compensate enough for the left bottom stringer standoff. When I compared the template and looked at it from behind, it really looked like crap. It certainly wasn’t a mirror image. Some things can be off side to side, but there was absolutely no hiding this. The door shape and the fabric line was waaaaay off and it looked really odd. I was super bummed and left the shop for the night. I have to think of a way out that isn’t too crazy. I am NOT going to remake the sills!!!
