Brief Description:  Front Flap Pulley Mounts

This has been in the top ten of the most frustrating tasks so far. It has taken so much work and noodling to finally get the optimum placement of the forward flap pulley. It needs to be aligned just so because as the flap drive arm goes through it's arc, the angle of the cable changes. It needs to travel on the pulley first favoring the right side and then transition to the left side. To get it to this point was a feat I don't want to repeat, but know I know the flap cable will work smoothly.

Trying to clamp round tubes to round tubes in tight spaces and then be able to adjust them while working a cable in the pulley under tension is almost impossible. I finally came up with a block of wood, coped underneath with a spacer on top. I finally have a flat spot that I can clamp to and adjust. This was the end result of a LOT of trial and error…problem solving at it’s best.
