Another day spent taking care of family business, but I did get into the shop for an hour and welded on the aft hand holds. I had already made the pieces long ago, I was just waiting until the stringers were installed so I could place them correctly. I put in a couple of cutoffs from the stringers as a quasi-platform and placed a piece of square tubing as a spacer on top. On top of that I put a level as a straight-edge and just lightly clamped the handles to it so I could tack them into place. The reason they are angled is to have them double as hard points so you could set the fuselage up on a saw horse in case a component on the tail needs work. The idea of the spacer is to put some airspace between the stringers/fabric and the top of the saw horse. Once they were tacked, it was just a simple process to remove the makeshift jig and weld it in place.
