I spent quite a bit of time fabricating this jig to bend the 1/2in U channel for the skylight. The U channel slips in the jig. The side plates keeps the shape from developing kinks while just bumping the long end for leverage. It took a bit of fiddling to get the jig to work right, then even more time to get the first former done. But the second went much faster and now I have the two formers by the wing root done. The two middle skylight formers have a slightly different shape and I need to get the top stringers in place so I have a reference point for them.
