Well, D-Day (decision day) has arrived. I can't put it off much longer so I went ahead and welded the front and rear wing mounts in place. It got too late and I didn't get the side plates welded on the front mount, but I'll get that done tomorrow. The bar to keep the wing mounts from moving worked...I think. I'll know for sure when I can get the wings back in positon after the skylight structure is welded in place.
