After wrestling with taxes and some other issues (and some flying thrown in!), I was able to get back to the wing fittings.
I made templates using the copier and using a fine sharpie added the additional 1/8th inch to each piece. I cut them out and glued them to the metal using rubber cement. After that, I cut them out on the band saw (rough cut) and shaped them to the final shape using my belt grinder and air die grinder with a 3/4 rotary cutter. The thicknesses of the front and rear wing fittings are different and they are laid out on the proper metal. It just doesn’t show up well in the first photo. Why does it always take half the time making parts the second time?
