The last of the door threshold saga. I cut, bent and fit the left side door sills. They took half the time of the right side. I swear if I build another Bearhawk, I would have it done in record time!
I finish welded the left and right sides. But, I did leave the bent flange untouched. When I get the fuselage back in the rotisserie, I will weld in the 1/4in support tubes for the sills. Until then, I want to leave the flange portion alone in case I need to tweak the bend. It's pretty stout as it is and the tube will make it even more robust. Once the tubes are in, the flange will be welded. On to the next project...yay!
