I cut and fit the aft half of the bottom cargo door sill. The first piece I cut wasn’t the proper width and I kick myself for measuring incorrectly, but the second was good. After some more finessing, the threshold looks good. It matches the front piece really well and it’s ready for welding.
I then realized my piece of sheet steel is pretty small and I may not have enough .040 4130A to finish all the door thresholds. Previously I remade several parts out of .040 4130A because of having my head up and locked and as a result I’m almost out of .040. I measured the piece I have left and I have enough to finish the thresholds, but there is no room for error. Arrrgh!
